Changing professions - Guild Wars Forums

Ok. So I created a Necro/Monk and want to change his secondary profession to Mesmer. I defeated my doppleganger, became ascended, then beat Dragon's Lair. Yet, whenever I go to Vanyi in Droks, I can't get the Hero's Journey quest which allows you to change your secondary profession. This character is a Prophecies character as well. So I have no idea what's wrong. The only thing I can think of is that I've traveled to Cantha with him. Please let me know if you have any ideas on what to do. Thanks

Ascend again, there was a bug earlier.

As far as I know, you could never get a quest to change your secondary in droks at Vanyi. I'm pretty sure you can only do it in the three small outpost areas in the desert...

You have to beat A Hero's Journey from Vanyi then you get the profession changing quests in the Desert.

I'm going to re-Ascend and see if that works. Thanks for the help.
